Distributed Information Sub-Centre (DISC) of DBT
 
BCIL is the Distributed Information Sub Center (DISC) of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The activities of DISC are focused on dissemination of latest information on developments in biotechnology to industry and other clients through:
a)
Creation and maintenance of commercial databases such as Directories on R&D institutions and industries, transferable technologies etc.
b)
Organization of national and international events (seminars, workshops, exhibitions and conferences)
