1 What should I do if there is lot of delay in accessing the page?
Speed for Registration of Online Application on Internet, is based on various factors like Internet Speed, large number of applicants trying to register the application at the same time etc. Therefore if you are not able to get the pages for registration immediately, please retry after a gap of 15 minutes or during off-peak hours during the night.
2 How do I know that my application is registered?
Successful Registration is indicated by the Page displayed after clicking the Submit Button indicating the generated "APPLICATION ID". You will also get the “APPLICATION ID.”, “USERID” and “PASSWORD” through email to the mail ID given at the time of registration.
3 I did not receive the email intimation for registration of my application?
"USER ID" and "PASSWORD" are later sent by auto-response confirmation emails. Provide a valid working email id in the application form. Delivery of the emails purely depends upon the correctness of E-Mail ID provided, Policy of your E-Mail Service Provider to accept and Divert such emails under Bulk or Spam Mails or bounce back such mails without accepting it due to heavy number of emails generated by our applications. In case of Govt/official/company Email Ids, delivery is controlled by your Company Policies. Therefore, please do not expect replies from us, if you do not receive such confirmation/auto-response Emails.
4 How do I re-confirm that my application is saved?
In case of doubt about the successful Registration, candidates are advised to visit the portal and login into their account by clicking on ‘Already registered users’. View/Edit Application form, generate the Printout of application form and acknowledgment, send it to the given address along with the required documents and preserve the copies of the same.
5 I got Blank / Zero Registration No. after submission of application on-line?
In rare cases Candidates may get Zero (0) Registration No. with valid Password. Candidates are advised to please intimate us on bitp.dbt@nic.in for further action.
6 After filling up the complete form, I got Blank Screen / Internet got disconnected / My PC closed / hanged / shutdown. Is my application saved / registered?
Please refer to Point No.4. If you are not able to find the information filled by you by clicking on View/Edit Application form, your form was not filled successfully. Hence try to fill it again.
7 I did not receive the acknowledgement / reply to my email communication?
"Reply to" Email Id for the Application is created for the convenience of the Candidates for genuine communications. Please do not use this address to send back the emails for "Acknowledgment", "Vacation Mail", "Friendship Offers", "Sales Offers" etc. Our Email Server is configured to delete such emails automatically.
8 What details should I mention in my email for any query ?
While writing emails to us with the queries for genuine problem, please mention your Name, Application Id and User ID. In case of application failure or any error message, we would like to have the screenshot of the error in JPG, GIF format or as MS Word file.
9 What payment options can I use for this service?
Payment of application fee can be made only by offline mode via Demand draft.
10 In case of unsuccessful submission of application form in first attempt, do I need to create a fresh user id?
No, in case the application form was not filled in first attempt do not create new user id. You can fill or complete the application form by login into your account by clicking on Already registered users and putting in your already created user id and password.
11 What should I do if I do not receive email with password by clicking on “Forgot password” link?
Write your query to bitp.dbt@nic.in and wait for the response. Do not create another user id till then.
12 What should I do if I do not find test center in my city?
If there is no test center in your city or no seat available in the center of your choice, you can select the other nearest center.
13 Where I will be placed for training?
The selected candidates can be placed for training anywhere in India. Though efforts would be made to place candidates for training near to their home town.
14 Can I make a request to place me for training in a particular city or company?
Candidates shortlisted for interview can make a request of place/city or company, area of training or area of interest for training under BITP in writing by email by September 15, 2014. But placement for training would be subject to availability in the city/company/area. After issue of joining letter no request for change of company will be entertained.
15 What are the companies available for training under BITP? Can I get the list of companies for training under BITP?
Every year companies apply freshly for getting trainees under BITP. Some new companies are added or some old companies are discontinued for giving trainees; hence there is no pre-decided list of companies for training under BITP.
16 Can I get the recommendation letter from any company for training? Is it mandatory?
Recommendation letter from a company for training is not mandatory and does not ensure selection. Candidates will be required to undergo the selection procedure. Candidate may not be placed for training in company which has issued recommendation letter. Recommendation letter would only express choice of company by the candidate. The candidates who do not produce the recommendation letter will also be placed for training.
17 What should I do if unable to see any other option in my BITP account except ‘upload photo/signature’ and change password?
Login into your account again, upload your photo and signature, then log out.
The details will be updated and you can see the option to ‘View/Edit application form’ by login again. When you will click on that you will find a blank form (form is blank since it was not submitted successfully earlier). Fill the form and click on edit/save button, it will submit the details filled by you now.
